Decisions...Decisions...
Since I'm new to selling my creations, I'm trying to determine which the best venue to sell is, which is a BIG decision.
-Retail vs Wholesale
-If Retail, then where......
"Unlisted" (An artisan store located @ Co Line & University)
"The Emporium" (A specialty store in Castle Rock)
"Etsy" (online marketplace)
-If Wholesale, then where.....
Baby Stores
Hospital Shops
Big Retail Stores like Nordstroms
Small Boutiques
-Craft Shows...If yes, then which ones (there are a million)
Here's what I've decided...
Since winter is just around the corner, and my product is worn in colder weather, I need to act fast, but I've gotten a late start....YIKES !
- I applied to several shows and was accepted to the Parker Mountain Pine Yuletide Bazaar at the Parker Fieldhouse, November 11th and Grandmothers House at Tagawa Gardens, November 7th-11th. I was a little late to find room this year in any other popular Holiday Show. These two shows overlap 1 day, so more planning is needed to ensure adequate inventory, timely set up/take down and a good looking booth.
- I applied for a booth at the "Emporium" in Castle Rock and am on their wait list.
- After the Holiday Shows, and I know what my inventory level is, I will probably apply to show at "Unlisted" on Co Line & University, which is an Artisan boutique..
- Seriously thinking of taking my baby products to several hospital shops and sell them some products at wholesale.

KNITTING TUTORIAL
Coming later this year, I'm planning to begin tutorials on "How to Knit". Since I've made ALL mistakes, I hope these will be a benefit to interested individuals. I'll give you my tips and hints to make your knitting projects fearless and fun.
